Our story

A shop with a front porch feeling

Marcus opened Peach Street Barbers in 2014 inside an old shoe repair shop on Church Street, keeping the original tin ceiling and the heart pine floors. The name came from his grandmother's house on Peach Street in Macon, where the whole family got their hair cut on Sunday afternoons.

Ten years on, it is still that kind of place. Neighbors trade Braves scores, kids get their first cuts, and every guest leaves looking sharp and feeling a little lighter.

Word around Decatur

What the neighbors say

★★★★★

Best fade I have had since moving to Decatur. Marcus remembers how I like it and my kids actually ask to go.

Andre W., Oakhurst
★★★★★

Booked the hot towel shave before my wedding. Dee is an artist. Smoothest shave of my life, zero irritation.

Sam R., Winnona Park
★★★★★

Jordan gave my son his first haircut and made it fun. Easy parking out back is a big plus with a stroller.
